Vittorio G (VittGam)	ffa0c2136e	Fix toxURI parsing. It was always eating two characters more than needed. A toxURI passed to handleToxURI always starts with "tox:", it's checked in the handleToxURI callers. So here we need to remove that prefix, that's long 4 characters and not 6. The previous code was meant to handle tox:// and tox: cases, but the tox:// case is invalid and should not be handled (see #2118). tux3	ce2f8fd1d5	Cleanup and improve audio input We now subscribe to an event and wait for frames when capturing audio input, the big avdantage is that we only have to fetch the frames from the hardware once, and we don't need to cache anything. Rowen Stipe	f7c262fb07	Touchups This commit has several touch ups that only effect the OS X clients. `info.plist` and `qt.pro` are now configured to create an automatic short version to help distinguish between clients clearly and include a referenced file not put into the build when compiled. `./img/icon/qtox_profile.icns’ `info.plist` also had it’s bundle version to be updated to the 1.2.2 tag and supported languages added and fixed referenced file. The default save location has also been moved to comply with the Tox Client Standard. (Previous location was ~/Library/Prefrences/tox ) A basic bash profile mover has also been included to show I did think of that.	2016-01-18 14:36:35 -05:00

rku	056a77d4dd	Cleaned up all the ipc/startup code: * Removed duplicate code of ipc event sending * Removed duplicate code of profile loading * Fixed bug where activating existing instance still started new instance of qtox asking to select a profile * IPC messages are now profile-aware and are sent to instance that runs specified profile in -p flag or to ipc owner if -p is not specified. If -p flag is specified ipc events will be send to instance which runs specified profile. If instance using that profile does not run - new qTox instance will be started. tux3	b5cdfb3dce	Implement new SQLCipher based database and history qTox will automatically import the old history on startup. This new database code is much more robust. It is very resilient and will not corrupt or disappear after a crash or power failure, unlike the old code. The on-disk database format is also much more compact now. The database sync option in the advanced settings has been removed, we know run many database operations asynchronously so performance should not be a problem anymore, but we always ensure resiliency in case of abrupt termination, so there is no tradeoff anymore.	2015-12-19 04:17:28 +01:00

tux3	523e419adf	Fix theoritical A/V deadlock Could only be hit by pausing at a key point in a debugger until the call timed-out. Having one thread going up the call stack and acquiring locks (toxcore callbacks), while another thread goes down taking locks in the other order (CoreAV calling toxav functions) creates some pretty freezy situations. The deadlock was caused by the GUI thread calling the CoreAV thread, acquiring the CoreAV callback, then right before calling a toxav function, not schedule the thread until the call times out. At this point the toxcore thread fires its state callback to tell us the call is over, locking internal toxcore/toxav mutexes, it reaches our callback function which tries to switch to the CoreAV thread to clean up the call data structures, but has to wait since the CoreAV thread holds its own lock. At this point if we resume the CoreAV thread, it'll be busy calling into a toxav function, which tries to acquire internal toxav locks, those locks are held by the toxcore callback so we deadlock. Our solution is that when getting a toxcore callback, we immediately switch to a temporary thread, allowing toxcore to release the locks it held, and that temporary thread tries to switch to do work on call data structures. Meanwhile if the CoreAV thread needs internal toxcore locks, it can get them.	2015-11-08 00:32:32 +01:00

rku	74d98fd0c2	This dialog solves all confusion that arose from current verification method and is accident-proof. Current method asks if user also wants to remove chat history. However confused user may not carefully read message and click "no" because he does not want to remve contact. However in this case contact is in fact removed but history is preserved. It is also open to possiblity that key smashing deletes contact by accident. This is very inconvenient because tox ids are long and hard to memorize. If someone removes contact by accident then he would need to find id of that contact in order to contact him/her. Sometimes this may be difficult. New contact removal confirmation dialog prompts use to enter "YES" in the text boxin order to enable "OK" button so removal can be accepted. It also has checkbox for history removal. Dialog will work with translations. Russian user would need to enter "Да" in order to accept removal.	2015-08-22 12:17:04 +03:00

tux3	2ab55568f2	Make the video code a singleton, fix multithreading bugs There can now only be one CameraSource running. Video frames are decoded in their own thread, and then converted by users in the user's threads. The CameraSource API is entirely thread-safe and controls the video decoding thread. The video device only stays open as long as there are users subscribed to the CameraSource. Trying to conform to anything other brings only chaos and makes situation worse, since it is impossible to catch every exception. There are already plenty of cases where regexp simply can't work with unicode. In the future, qTox should have easy to use r-click options for 'Paste text as a quote' and 'Copy as a quote', which makes it a must to have quote detection as simple as possible, to avoid situation where user wants to paste something as a quote, and suddenly it doesn't seem to work. I've moved the key bindings in the main widget instead of the chat form given it doesn't seem to be the chat form's responsibility to handle switching between conversations it shouldn't know about in the first place. I've also included new shortcuts to provide a more familiar feel to most people. All in all this provides Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab for cycling as well as Ctrl+PgUp and Ctrl+PgDown for cycling. Jookia	f6a2925331	Tabs with modifiers are passed up from chat boxes. In Qt chat boxes filter out events related to text editing, including tabs. Unfortunately tabs with modifiers like those used to cycle through contacts are being filtered despite not being used for anything. Jookia	59a8ea13e7	Implemented cycling through contacts. I've implemented this by having the contacts list container return all contact widgets in the order they appear each time it's time to cycle. It's perhaps inefficient but given cycling isn't done often I don't see a need to optimize. This code does make the assumption that the friends list isn't empty, which I'd guess would be the case if there's an active conversation.	2015-05-07 18:46:08 +02:00
