feat: Add async event handling (callbacks) code.
Instead of synchronously handling events as they happen in
`tox_iterate`, this first collects all events in a structure and then
lets the client process them. This allows clients to process events in
parallel, since the data structure returned is mostly immutable.

This also makes toxcore compatible with languages that don't (easily)
support callbacks from C into the non-C language.

If we remove the callbacks, this allows us to add fields to the events
without breaking the API.

cleanup: Comply with new cimple callback rules.
* Function arguments must use `foo_cb *p` and can't just use `foo_cb p`
* You can no longer cast function pointers (if it's incompatible, you
  must wrap the callback). I'm avoiding this with tokstyle exclusions.

cleanup: Ensure we limit the system headers included in .h files.
Most system headers contain functions (e.g. `memcpy` in `string.h`)
which aren't needed in our own header files. For the most part, our own
headers should only include types needed to declare our own types and
functions. We now enforce this so we think twice about which headers we
really need in the .h files.

Fix potential freeing of an immutable static buffer
strerror_r() has two versions: GNU-specific and XSI-compliant. The XSI
version always stores the string in the provided buffer, but the GNU
version might store it in the provided buffer or it might use some
immutable static buffer instead. Since we always free the error string,
we might end up freeing the immutable static buffer.

fix: Fix bootstrap on emscripten/wasm.
Also added a whole bunch of logging that I needed while debugging the
issue. The solution in the end is that bootstrap needs to resolve IPs,
and getaddrinfo fails in the browser. Most of the time we bootstrap
against IPs anyway, so trying to parse as IP address first will shortcut
that.

cleanup: Remove our only use of flexible array members in toxcore.
We still have them in toxav. That will need to be cleaned up later.
Flexible array members have very limited usefulness. In this particular
case, it's almost entirely useless. It confuses static analysers and is
yet one more C feature we need to understand and support. It is also the
only reason we need special support in tokstyle for calloc with a `+`
operator in the member size.

cleanup: Remove uses of strcpy and sprintf.
Use of `strcpy` in these particular cases was safe, but it's hard to
tell and also useless. `strcpy` would effectively need to do another
`strlen` which we already did.

Also removed sprintf, which was also safe in this case but it's easier to
be "obviously safe", especially for static analysers.

Fix file permission issue in toxchat/bootstrap-node
/var/lib/tox-bootstrapd on the host is owned by hosts's tox-bootstrapd
and chowned 700, but the container attempts to access it as its own
tox-bootstrapd user with possibly different uid:gid, which will fail if
host's tox-bootstrapd user has different uid:gid than the tox-bootstrapd
user inside the container.

This change makes the container use host's tox-bootstrapd uid:gid, which
fixes the issue.

a2d586b782
Rework the toxchat/bootstrap-node Docker image.
* Use fully static build for the bootstrap daemon.
* Store a sha256sum of the binary in the repo.
* Updated documentation for it.
* Add support for fully static build in cmake.
* Enable the docker build on every PR, so we catch changes to the
  checksum. I realise this is adding toil, but having the checksum is
  valuable for security of released binaries.

Migrate format-source script to new apidsl web app.
This one is unfortunately a little more complicated to use. I may add a
simpler API later, but for now, it's JSON-based (because I couldn't get
binary data to work without it getting mangled somewhere along the way -
JSON is at least text-transport-safe).

Increase NOFILE limit for tox-bootstrapd
tox-bootstrapd can use around 600 TCP sockets during TCP server's normal
functioning. Many systems default to having a soft limit of 1024 open file
descriptors, which we are close to reaching, so it was suggested we bump that
limit to a higher number. iphy suggested increasing it to 32768.

Reduced by, e.g.:

Other tests will see similar improvements. Real world applications will
be closer to 40-50% improvement, since tox_many_test has 100 nodes, while
file_transfer_test has 2 nodes.

Make tox.c unambiguously parseable.
Rules:
1. Constants are uppercase names: THE_CONSTANT.
2. SUE[1] types start with an uppercase letter and have at least one
   lowercase letter in it: The_Type, THE_Type.
3. Function types end in "_cb": tox_friend_connection_cb.
4. Variable and function names are all lowercase: the_function.

This makes it easier for humans reading the code to determine what an
identifier means. I'm not convinced by the enum type name change, but I
don't know a better rule. Currently, a lot of enum types are spelled like
constants, which is confusing.

Run all tests in parallel on Travis.
The first round some tests will fail and others will segfault. The second
round, still some will fail, but the third round it might pass. At some
point, tests will pass.

The reason for this is that tests assume a lot about which ports they are
given, and also toxcore's default port range has too few ports to run all
tests in parallel. These issues will be fixed in future PRs.

pkg-config .pc files: added .private versions of Libs and Required
To prevent top-level linking of all libraries.

Problem: ```pkg-config --libs toxcore``` returns all libraries that are
required by all libtox*.so libraries. This is wrong because for a
dynamically linked executable only top-level libraries need to be
supplied. ```pkg-config --libs --static toxcore``` should return all
libraries for the statically linked executable.

For example, the ToxBot https://github.com/JFreegman/ToxBot executable
uses pkg-config and is linked with the opus library, which is wrong.

Add a monolith_test that includes all toxcore sources.
This requires that every symbol, even if static (file-scope), is unique.
The idea is that we can easily run "whole" program static analysis on
programs that include monolith.h ("whole" is in quotes, as we don't
include dependencies like libsodium in this static analysis).

3520eee05d SO versions for cmake and libtool
this updates the version-sync script to generate proper SO versions
which will be used by cmake and libtool to create version symlinks
on the system when a library is installed as well as setting the SO
version in the binary.

To see what this does, you have to configure tox with a prefix:

    ./configure --prefix=/tmp/tox-with-libtool
    mkdir cbuild && cd cbuild && cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/tmp/tox-with-cmake ..

Then run `make && make install`.

in both instances you should see the following installed in `lib/`:

    libtoxcore.so -> libtoxcore.so.1.4.0
    libtoxcore.so.1 -> libtoxcore.so.1.4.0
    libtoxcore.so.1.4.0

inside the binary the soname should be the one with .1 and it should not
contain the full version:

    $ objdump -p libtoxcore.so.1.4.0 | grep SONAME
      SONAME               libtoxcore.so.1

f3469070fe Portability fixes
- CFLAG gnu99 was changed to c99.
- CXXFLAG c++98 was changed to c++11.
- CFLAG -pedantic-errors was added so that non-ISO C now throws errors.
- _XOPEN_SOURCE feature test macro added and set to 600 to expose SUSv3
  and c99 definitions in modules that required them.
- Fixed tests (and bootstrap daemon logging) that were failing due to
  the altered build flags.
- Avoid string suffix misinterpretation; explicit narrowing conversion.
- Misc. additions to .gitignore to make sure build artifacts don't wind
  up in version control.

f0f53dbd55 Don't error on warnings by default
Having -Werror set by default causes users' builds to fail because
toxcore is not warning-free. Failing on errors is appropriate for the
development phase, e.g. when building it in a CI enviroment, but it
doesn't make much sense to fail builds for users and let them figure out
that they need to pass -DWARNINGS=OFF to make the library build.

Set log level for DEBUG=ON to LOG_DEBUG.
We use TRACE=ON (cmake flag) to enable LOG_TRACE. This way, a regular

particularly important for FFI bindings (especially Python), where
invoking callbacks can be an expensive operation.
