docs(INSTALL): Bring back autotools instructions

Reverted, since apparently cmake is not supposed to be used for things
other than testing/development and causes client build failures.

Apparently making it work for clients would require complicating
maintenance, which clearly can't be done.

This reverts commit 48ddb11599.
